香港职业发展服务处是一间非牟利及税务条例第88条认可的慈善机构。致力为弱势社群提供专业、多元化的就业辅导及培训服务。本处成立前为香港社会服务联会(社联)属下的职业辅导社，在2002年中注册成为独立机构，并于2003年4月起接管社联职业辅导社的工作及服务单位。社联职业辅导社有四十多年为弱势社群提供服务的经验，主要为受感化青年、新来港人士、年长雇员等提供职业辅导及培训服务。
Hong Kong Employment Development Service (EDS) is a non-government organization under section 88 of the Non-Profit and Inland Revenue Ordinance. We committed to providing professional Employment Counseling and Training Services to the disadvantaged job seekers. With the assistance of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), EDS was set up in mid-2002. EDS has been taking over gradually the management and service units of the Employment Service of HKCSS since April 2003.
