Edmission is a neutral education platform for students and parents in Hong Kong. In their 2018 report, Hong Kong Consumer Council pointed out that local education agencies or consultants collect commissions from education providers, thus maintain questionable neutrality when serving students. Instead of giving advices based on student’s suitability and interest, free-of-charge consultants may send them to institutions that pay more commissions. Therefore, Edmission connects students and parents to consultants who do not hold institutional contracts or receive commissions for sending students. This is an environment where students can find neutral and personlized services, and make the most informed decision in their pursuit of education.
