Arts Administration Trainee

The Hong Kong Philharmonic (HK Phil) is one of Asia’s leading orchestras, with a busy annual season of concerts and community-engagement activities. In 2024/25, the HK Phil has reached the 51st season of our musical journey. This season, we are presenting 30 programmes with internationally renowned conductors and soloists.

We are now looking for an Arts Administration Trainee who is passionate about classical music and wishes to pursue a career in arts administration.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and work closely with professional staff in different functions of the management office, including marketing, sponsorship and event management, orchestral operations, and education and outreach, for a period of 12 months.

Attributes

• University Degree in arts, music or a related field;

• A team player with strong interpersonal and presentation skills;

• Outgoing, presentable, and self-motivated;

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese;

• Knowledge of and interest in classical music;

This is a fixed-term contract position with the possibility for renewal subject to organizational needs and individual performance. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
