ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analysis Intern to join our team in Hong Kong and support our data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with the Hong Kong Macau and Taiwan Senior Client Engagement Manager & Client Development Director of Greater China to provide actionable insights, develop dashboards, and contribute to client engagement activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on advanced tools like Google BigQuery, Power BI, and Python while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

MISSION

Data Analysis & Insights: 

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address business questions and deliver actionable insights using tools like Python and SQL. 

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance clienteling strategies and marketing performance. 

Dashboard Development: 

  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and BigQuery for senior executives and key stakeholders. 

  • Ensure data visualization and reporting are clear, accurate, and aligned with business needs. 

Support Business Operations: 

  • Collaborate with teams across Retail, Merchandising, and Finance to develop business data solutions that drive efficiency and performance. 

  • Assist in event planning and prepare detailed reports to support business initiatives. 

Standardization & Best Practices: 

  • Contribute to the development of best practices for data analysis and visualization. 

  • Share knowledge and actively engage with the internal data analytics community. 

Ad-hoc Tasks: 

  • Take on special projects and provide support for client events and other business activities as needed. 

PROFILE

Education: 

  • Pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Analysis, Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery). 

  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.). 

Analytical Mindset: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities related to customer behavior and marketing performance. 

  • Curious and passionate about data-driven marketing, customer behavior analysis, and trends in the luxury and retail industry. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 

Language: 

  • Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
