INDUSTRIAL CENTRE

Associate Engineer (Ref. [protected-phone-number]-IE)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) facilitate student learning and development, and develop corresponding curriculum and pedagogy;

(b) lead and coordinate student learning modules and subjects, and promote teaching quality among colleagues;

(d) assist in the implementation of strategic actions;

(e) conduct essential activities for the operation in the assigned technical team;

(f) interact closely with stakeholders in the University; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Centre or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree or a higher degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related discipline;

(b) have hands-on experience in developing microelectronic products or systems;

(d) have a good command of written and spoken English.

Applicants with hands-on experience in electronic hardware, PCB schematics, or User Interface design will be a definite advantage.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
