About our Client
Our client is a HK private company. Currently, they are looking for a Financial Controller to base in their group finance team in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for supervising a team to prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports together with department heads for management review. You will communicate insights on company financials with management in a timely & accurate manner with inputs from department heads. You will provide analysis support for the company's development and investment in China. You will oversee, monitor & plan the company's overall cash/capital positions, and flag any potential issues and opportunities with management. You will maintain relationship with banks and manage the portfolio of investment products. You will establish financial policies and strengthen internal control. You will work closely with external parties on tax, legal and audit matters.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in driving China projects is required.
- Capital Market/investment management experience is an advantage.
- Agile, adaptive, with strong project and change management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Traveling to China on business needs will be required.
