Head of IT (NGO)

Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & IT Governance

• Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Advise management on IT investments and digital transformation by staying updated on emerging technologies.
• Oversee IT policies, compliance, and best practices for data security and risk management.
   

IT Infrastructure & System Management

• Manage the maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to data security and privacy protocols.
• Optimize enterprise software workflows (ERP, CRM, HRIS, DMS) for efficiency.
• Lead initiatives in digital transformation, including AI and cloud migration.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
• Identify and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and staff training on IT security best practices.

Project Management & User Support

• Implement cost-effective IT solutions for service operations.
• Provide technology support for project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
   

Budget & Vendor Management

• Develop and manage IT budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee vendor sourcing and project coordination within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with departments for system enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role in NGOs, corporations, or government.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects (ERP, CRM).
• Strong skills in IT management, budgeting, and security monitoring.
• Proficiency in Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365, AWS, Azure, and more.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
• Knowledgeable in AI, mobile application development, and IT security.
