Assistant Financial Controller

Rambler Garden Hotel is owned by Shing Cheong Development Limited. We are now inviting energetic and focused professionals to join the team.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Finance Department at Rambler Garden Hotel and Rambler Oasis Hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring effective financial operations and team performance.
• Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported by robust internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with other departments in preparing and monitoring budgets, implementing cost control measures, and analyzing financial performance.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in hospitality industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and accounting software.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
