Audiologist

Responsibilities:

• Counsel hearing-impaired persons and give advice to their relatives, particularly parents of hearing-impaired children;

• Explain audiological services and hearing solutions in a professional manner easily understood by the clients and professionals.

• Select and administer diagnostic hearing tests; operate diagnostic equipment; determine type and degree of hearing impairment and hearing handicap for newborn to elderly.

• Provide hearing aid evaluation, orientation and counselling; advise on the selection and use of hearing-aids and other appropriate remedial and rehabilitation measures

• Manage all documents and records keep related to audiology service.

• Provide training to colleagues and performs other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Master degree or above in Audiology, local degree or overseas equivalent qualification.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with passion in providing professional health care, learning new knowledge, providing professional service and team work spirit.

• Fluent in Cantonese and English Language. Putonghua is preferred.

• Audiologist in Accredited Register preferred.
