Interior Design Coordinator (6 months contract)
Job Purpose:
Based in Hong Kong, the Interior Design Coordinator, Ralph Lauren Architecture & Design Studio (RLAD+S) is responsible for Interior Design purchasing, coordinating deliveries, and process payments for components of our work – New Store Opening items across GCSEA and Catalog Expansion sampling initiatives for all Interior Design fixtures supporting the APAC region. This will be a 6 month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
The current responsibilities of Interior Design Coordinator will be a split between Administrative and Creative Catalog support.
Creative Catalog Support will consist of the following:
· Support Interior Design Leads for our Catalog Expansion initiative to coordinate production orders for multiple suppliers. Suppliers include but not limited to faux floral, furniture manufacturers, mirrors, carpets, leather, fabrics and other decorative items
· Process sampling orders and follow up with payment with our internal financial partners and external vendors/partners.
· Follow up with external vendors for sampling initiative shipments and progress.
· Manage administrative documents for suppliers including Inventory Reports, Master Item Lists, Production Orders etc.
Administrative portion will include the following:
· Support project managers to process purchase orders and follow up with payment with our internal financial partners and external vendors/partners.
· Liase with Supply Chain partners to follow up on project based shipments
· Warehouse inventory management for HK, including delivery and receipt of goods, checking inventories on a regular basis
Requirements:
· Tertiary educated in business administration, procurement, visual merchandising, interior design or related field
· 1-2 years relevant experience in Interior Design or Visual Merchandising a plus
· Works well independently and is also a good team player with effective communication and organization skills
· Good computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
· Language: English and Cantonese. Mandarin a plus.
