Join a Dedicated Team Supporting Neurodivergent Students
Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS) – the only English-medium special school in Hong Kong for students aged 5–19 with neurodiverse needs and disabilities, including Autism Spectrum diagnoses and complex sensory needs– seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist I to enhance our collaborative, neuroaffirming therapy services.
About the Role
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based, person-centred Occupational Therapy to empower students in achieving life skills, self-regulation, and curriculum access. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualised and group interventions (e.g., sensory integration, adaptive equipment, classroom strategies).
- Assessing needs, formulating IEP goals, and evaluating outcomes.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to embed OT strategies school-wide.
- Leading training sessions and mentoring staff/student clinicians.
- Managing resources and contributing to service development projects.
Ideal Candidate
You are a reflective practitioner with:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and HK Supplementary Medical Professions Council (Part 1) registration.
- Experience: 5+ years post-registration experience; experience in pediatric/school settings, preferably with autism/sensory processing disorders.
- Skills:
- Expertise in sensory integration, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and IEP collaboration.
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication (English proficiency required).
- Traits: Enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to student-centred outcomes.
