Production Officer (Food Factory)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production operations of assigned sections to meet production schedules and internal quality requirements

• Allocate manpower effectively across sections and production lines to optimize productivity.

• Prepare daily production reports and maintain the documentation system to fulfil ISO & BRC Audit requirement

• Provide training to production staff on quality control and safety procedures

• Participate in regular Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) patrols and safety inspections to ensure hygiene and safety requirements are met in the production workplace.

• Assist in preparing machine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure consistent and safe operation.

• Participate in projects and quality/safety improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance production efficiency.

• Undertake other ad hoc projects, events, or assignments as assigned by the superior to support departmental goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, industrial engineering, manufacturing or other related disciplines

• 3-5 years’ experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Computer literacy (e.g. MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Immediate available is highly preferred
