General Overview
As a finance administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the office team administrative duties across a range of roles. You will majorly be responsible for maintaining data and ensuring all systems within your assigned role are up to date with the relevant information. You will also be tasked with the handling of general day to day duties within the office to help the team. Finally, you will also be responsible for any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor/manager as deemed appropriate.
General duties may include but not limited to:
- set up and maintain all workstations including laptops, Chromebooks, iMac & other Apple products
- assist with central system and school portal implementations
- assist in the administration of hardware and software inventories
- assist in teaching during regular lessons and ad-hoc educational events
- assist in setting up ICT equipment for meetings or workshops
- participate in ICT training for all staff
- provide AV support to school events (sound, lighting and AV systems)
- assist in photo taking, video taking and post production tasks e.g. editing
- maintain and update a list of computers and peripherals in school
- provide ICT resources to all staff such as computers, laptops, printers, digital cameras, photo scanners, peripherals & projectors, etc and make sure they are ready & working properly
- set up laptops, run tests, provide support during computer-based tests
- support all staff in using Microsoft and Apple products
- support all students in using Chromebooks and iPads
General Requirements
- A qualification in systems & communication engineering is desirable
- Experience of setting up, maintaining and developing existing and new systems
- Experience of working in an educational institution is highly desirable
- Experience in creating customised solutions and applications for Data Tracking and management
- Web and app programming
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and to learn new skills is essential
- Ability to work harmoniously as part of the team is essential
- Ability to work and manage time effectively under pressure is essential
- A friendly, approachable manner in relation to staff & student users is essential
- Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential
- Ability to diagnose and solve ICT–related problems is essential
