College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

Lecturer in Nutrition / Public Health

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) engage in teaching;
(b) provide support to course planning and development;
(c) carry out research and scholarly work;
(d) contribute to academic administration, and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee may station at different campuses, and be required to take up assignments and work outside Hong Kong occasionally.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a higher degree, preferably a doctoral degree in the related discipline;
(b) relevant teaching, research/consultancy and/or industrial experience;
(c) good teaching performance;
(d) active engagement in professional and scholarly activities;
(e) proficiency in English, and
(f) good communication skills.

Conditions of Service

An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
