About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Artist Assistant to join our team at FD Fedrizzi Innovative Art Limited. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to support our talented artists in bringing their creative visions to life.What you'll be doing
Supporting artwork and special finishes production.
Coordinating with the team the production of samples, for artwork, special finishes, handicrafts and other required items.
Assisting artists with the preparation and execution of art projects, including material handling, set-up, and cleanup.
Providing support in the research and development of new artistic concepts and techniques.
Assisting with handling paints (mixing colour, painting, handling the mixing machine, etc.)
Collaborating with the team to organise and maintain the inventory and the studio workspace.
Contributing to the documentation and archiving of completed art pieces.
Participating in the installation and presentation of art exhibitions and events.
Communicating with clients as needed.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in hand-painting and/or paint application as an Artist Assistant or other related, ideally in the design and art industry.
Proficiency in using various art materials and equipment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Passion for the arts and a keen interest in contemporary creative practices.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a team.
