As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Senior Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our comprehensive development projects in Hong Kong.
The successful candidate will directly report to the General Manager (Investment) and participate in the entire investment process, including investment in global private equity funds (covering venture capital, growth & expansion and buyout funds) as well as direct investments while managing an active investment portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to assess risks & potentials and to formulate investment themes
- Participate in selection and evaluation of private equity managers and direct investments
- Approach target managers to establish direct relationships
- Conduct due diligence on fund managers globally thru assessing quality of investment teams, investment strategies, and track records
- Participate in terms negotiation and legal structure of fund investments and prepare investment proposals
- Monitor & evaluate fund performance, conduct returns analysis
- Prepare management reports and conduct customary analyses
- Identify and evaluate qualified service providers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related disciplines with relevant qualifications
- 3 -5 years of relevant experience gained from international investment management firms or reputable institutional investors
- Hands on experience of using third party investment portfolio management software for investment analysis and fund accounting
- Capable of handling full set of investment portfolio database independently and familiar with investments in private equity funds
- Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and with good analytical, interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
