Our client :
Our client has been a trusted global manufacturer of high-quality electronic equipment and serving loyal customers worldwide over half a century, to strengthen collaboration between our Dongguan plant and Hong Kong headquarters, they are seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer/ Assistant Human resources manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Hong Kong HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws.
- Lead recruitment efforts for Hong Kong-based positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Travel to Dongguan plant once a week (same-day return) to liaise with department heads, assess employee performance, and implement improvement strategies.
- Provide workforce optimization recommendations, including restructuring and redundancy proposals when necessary.
- Foster strong communication between Hong Kong and Dongguan teams to enhance efficiency and employee engagement.
Requirements :
- Higher Diploma or Associated degree or above academic qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience with at least 1 year experience acquired from manufacturing sector. (Experience in performance management and restructuring is not a must.)
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess workforce productivity and propose data-driven solutions.
- Willingness to travel weekly to Dongguan (company-sponsored transportation).
- Knowledge of Hong Kong labor laws and familiarity with mainland China HR practices is a plus.
