IT Manager
The successful candidate will:
Have significant experience as IT manager in smaller companies (25 – 100 total staff) including setting up an IT department from the beginning and independently handling the end-to-end activities in the early months and years.
Formulate IT strategies, policies, and guidelines to meet the current and future needs of the company.
Formulate and lead transition to improved communication processes covering email, group chat, instant messaging, video conference. Lead transition to MS365 and MS Teams for entire organization, create communication framework for various situations, and train all staff.
Plan and manage hardware and software requirements for all staff based on needs.
Analyze and develop systems to safeguard data security, avoid incidents of malware, viruses
Technical support for all staff from all departments with daily IT issues.
Train all staff from all departments on IT security issues.
Handle administration of hardware and software purchases.
Manage all network infrastructure, including server administration and network security.
Investigate and plan server backup solutions and management.
Act as principal liaison working with contractors in new ERP systems planning, implementation, training, then subsequent daily management.
Review and study existing operational processes to recommend IT applications/solutions for enhanced efficiency.
Lead change management initiatives by focusing on preparing, managing, and reinforcing change, ensuring that employees are supported throughout transitions.
Requirements and skills:
Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
Knowledge and practical experience in implementing ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Deep experience with MS365 and MS Teams.
Ability to lead department, as well as train and manage personnel
Comfortable to work independently in a small company with end-to-end responsibilities
BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
