RESIDENT SITE STAFF
We are looking for the following site staff for Construction of Annex Block at Hong Kong Observatory Headquarters, Tsim Sha Tsui (Contract No. SS N518)
Resident Field Officer II (RFOII)
The minimum qualifications required for the post of Resident Field Officer II shall be as follows:
- A Diploma or Higher Certificate in Management Studies; Natural Science or a related subject from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; or an acceptable diploma from an agriculture or forestry school/college, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' relevant post qualification experience including landscape projects, countryside/flora/wildlife field survey and management.
- Holder of Certified Arborist or equivalent is required.
- Good knowledge in planting and construction area required.
- The RFO is required to work at Queensway Government Offices (QGO) and/or at site.
- Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) /Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent.
- The tentative employment period will be about 48 months with gratuity payable on satisfactory completion of the contract and the tentative commencement date of employment will be in May 2025.
[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]

申請人必須具備下列基本入職資格:
- 持有香港建造業議會╱香港建造學院/香港理工學院╱理工大學╱香港專業教育學院╱香港專業進修學校頒發的自然科學相關學科文憑或高級證書或可接受的農業或林業學校╱學院文憑或具備同等學歷；
- 具有五年或以上於取得該等資格後之相關工作經驗，包括園境工程，郊區╱植物╱野生生物實地調查及管理方面的實際經驗；
- 註冊樹藝師或同等資歷；
- 具備良好的種植和施工知識；
- 必須在金鐘道政府合署（QGO）和/或施工現場工作；
- 語文能力要求具備香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級*或以上成績，或具備同等學歷。
- 合約期暫定由二零二五年五月開始，預計合約期為四十八個月，合約期滿後按表現可獲發約滿酬金。
[備註 *：在香港中學會考的中國語文科及英國語文科 (課程乙) 中取獲 E 級成績，會視為等同於二零零七年或以後舉辦的香港中學會考的中國語文科及英國語文科取獲2 級成績。]
