Administrative Assistant II (holding the functional title of Senior Programme Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532008) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 6 years’ programme management and/or development experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese), great organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative and in a team. Pursuit of quality work and efficiency, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are all essential qualities.
The appointee will assist in overseeing the operation of the Faculty’s undergraduate student enrichment programmes, including Corporate Partnership Initiatives, Overseas Academic Exchange, Experiential Learning Courses, International Field Trips, Case Competitions, Mentorship Programmes, Scholarships and Prizes, Student Associations and Clubs, etc. He/She will also be required to liaise with both local and overseas exchange partners and external parties, supervise a team of clerical staff to provide professional support to both faculty members and students, as well as perform any other duties as assigned. Occasional travel may be necessary. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test and an interview
