Job Duties:

to process booking applications for the hiring facilities of the Tai PO Civic Centre;
to compile statistics and reports in relation to booking matters;
to monitor the works of clerical officers on handling of booking and general matters;
to act as duty manager of the Tai PO Civic Centre and to ensure smooth running of all functions in the Venue as well as to enforce all regulations and house rules;
to ensure daily smooth operation of the Tai PO Civic Centre;
to handle enquiries and complaints from the public and hirers;
to attend emergency and ad-hoc duties;
to provide administrative support to the office;
to work in other venues, including but not limited to Sha Tin Town Hall and North District Town Hall, as and when required; and
to perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Requirements:

a permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and be lawfully employable in Hong Kong;
holder(s) of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline, preferably Arts Administration;
have at least Two (2) years of post-qualification full-time working experience, of which having at least One (l) year of post-qualification full-time working experience in the field of performing arts/ arts administration, cultural event management, cultural/ performance venues management and operations;
have not less than One (l) year of working experience in government departments and organisations (preferred);
have not less than One (l) year of working experience in staff supervision (preferred),
have good understanding on performing arts and administration work;
good communication and interpersonal skills, and mature in personality;
good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
physically fit to perform indoor and outdoor duties at the Venues; and
proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing.
