Job Description
Reporting to the Director, the incumbent is responsible for the coordination of all activities associated with a project, from receipt of customer orders to the completion and hand-over of the project. He / She also has responsibility for ensuring that the project is built on time, within the agreed budget and to the appropriate specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the project is carried out in a manner that is in line with defined standard practices and procedures and meets with the customer expectations as far as commercially possible
- Deliver Railway Projects throughout the whole project lifecycle from reception of the order to project closure
- Work with different departments to ensure compliances of customer requirements while achieving company budget and sales targets
- Coordinate with design team to design a customized platform screendoor system that meets customer requirements
- Project financial performance, as measured by the project financial costs statements and other measurements (such as inventory, cash collection and risk and opportunity analyses),in line with budgets and plans
- Project performance measurements (non-financial) including on-time submission of project deliverables and successful FAI go on-time
- Responsible for Project KPI and ensure on-time delivery and within budget
- Identification of project risks and opportunities and execute related mitigation measures in timely manner.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience and in a similar capacity, prior experience in railways sector is a plus
- Formal and recognised project management qualification in a recognised framework such as PMP
- Strong Project Management, facilitation, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility in dealing with issues
- Commercially oriented - possessing the confidence, skills and experience to identify, negotiate and execute new opportunities to improve the performance of existing and new suppliers, in terms of both operational performance and cost
- Understanding of contract management and manufacturing processes (Supply Chain Management).
- Knowledgeable in cost control and finance (WIP, risk analysis, opportunity)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels
- Good command in both written and spoken English & Chinese
