Compliance Manager - NGO

Our client is a charitable organization seeking a Manager with a focus on compliance and governance. This role is essential for ensuring effective oversight of charitable programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine compliance and risk protocols for charitable programs
• Manage due diligence processes and address specific compliance concerns across funded initiatives
• Coordinate with internal audit teams and support special reviews to enhance governance standards
• Collaborate with project teams to embed risk and compliance into project planning and execution
• Monitor and uphold compliance benchmarks across all charity-related activities
• Conduct periodic reviews and recommend improvements to compliance frameworks

Qualifications:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a closely related discipline
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in compliance, ideally in a senior capacity
• Background in NGOs or the social service sector would be a strong advantage
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and a genuine interest in charitable work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
