The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, specifically with large-scale projects as a main contractor. This role requires strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex project requirements and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of large-scale civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement project schedules, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring financial accountability.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and solutions.
- Implement best practices for project management, ensuring continuous improvement in processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, with significant exposure to large-scale projects as a main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
