#HKIOE 制定的專業標準和執業資格得到了越來越多企業的接受和許可，成為聘用環境工作者的基本要求。在2021年，本會受到英國建築工程師學 會(#CABE )的官方認可，HKIOE正式會員可直接申請英國特許建築工程師 (Chartered Building Engineer)的專業資格。
