Telecom Engineer

Duties will include:

• Carry out IP PBX installation and configuration, including SIP phones, Analog phones and servers.
• Design and support interface configuration with other system such as PBX, Radio, PA system.
• Meeting with customer and project team to resolve issues on project delivery.
• Create and implement test plan to allow smooth customer acceptance.
• Create O&M and user manual and implement training to customer.
• Create Design Document, RAMS analysis and Design Drawings such as Wiring diagram and Floor layout.
• Carry out site surveys
• Travel overseas occasionally to support customer project implementation

Skills and Experience Required:

• 1+ years of experience working with network diagnostic and management tools.
• 1+ years of experience in the installation, configuration and management of IP PBX and servers.
• Having knowledge on E1, FXS/FXO, SIP, SNMP.
• Experience on using AutoCAD and Visio.
• Interface experience of PBX with other systems, e.g. Radio, PA, MCS, NMS.
• Knowledge of protocol such as SIP, TCP/IP, SNMP, E1, T1, ISDN, Q-SIG.
• Experience in Railway and Airport project is an advantageous.
• Experience in CTI integration and TSAPI is an advantageous.
• Experience in the design and implementation of VOIP, call center technologies, and or PBX solutions.
• Knowledge and experience in programming such as JAVA is an advantageous.
• Good team player
• Able to lead a team for delivery
• Excellent communication skills
