Assistant Manager/ Manager – Asset & Liability Management (ALM)

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, prepare proposals for strategies, remedial actions and future development. Set overall budget including target balance sheet ("TBS") as well as departmental budgets.
• Participate in all perspectives of asset & liability management (ALM) functions, including management reports preparation, Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) set up, liquidity risk management and banking book interest rate risk (IRRBB) management.
• Assist in managing and assessing the Key Performance Index (KPI) of the Branch and all business units, provide monthly reports and support the regular review.
• Participate in developing assets and liabilities related IT systems and participate in UAT process.
• Perform ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, with a recognized professional qualification such as CPA, CFA or FRM preferred
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in banking, accounting or auditing
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, data analysis skills and Chinese writing skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Manager
