SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE / SPECIALIST
As a Social Media Executive, you will be part of a dynamic team which determines corporate messaging and ensures consistency across the region. You will be responsible for managing the companies social media and online interactions with customers through social media.
Job scope:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy and editorial calendar to achieve company goals of brand building and company awareness
- Execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Maintain and grow existing social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, WeChat and others
- Manage the day-to-day of campaigns & ongoing content while ensuring brand consistency. Includes content generation, editing, & publishing regularly (original text, images, video, etc.)
- Resolve customer issues through social media
- Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools, including tracking and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes
- Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business
- Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling
- Manage company blog and editorial calendar that aligns with social updates
- Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research best ways to increase traffic and drive engagement
- Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities
- Write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks (English and Chinese)
- Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach
Requirements:
- University degree holder
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (is a must)
- Two years of social media management experience
- Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot preferred
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
- Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms
- Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience
- Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
- Experienced with a website CMS, email marketing software (Salesforce marketing cloud preferred) and Google Analytics preferred
- Must be digitally savvy - have a good understanding of current user behaviour and trends on digital channels
- Self-motivated individual with proven attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills, able to multi-task and manage time efficiently with tight deadlines
- Positive attitude, team player, and willing to learn in a changing environment
