A Lovely Couple

It was a sunny weekend afternoon in November. I stayed in a bookstore for a while, then I headed to my friend’s house by train. My friends are a loving couple. They met over a passion for baseball. They have many common interests. From long-term friendship to marriage, it took a total of 8 years. 

It was three years ago that we last met. We had a lovely dinner time in a canteen in front of a college. They happily announced the news of their marriage. My thought at that moment was “What made them decide to get married?

Their wedding ceremony was quite simple. There were no complicated feast and bridecake. They captured wedding pictures with beautiful nature as their backdrop. Within a few days, they had accomplished important events in their lives.

What should the time for two be like? Do they respect each other? Do they value each other as friends as well as comrades? Do they cherish the relationship they build? From their daily behavior, I can know the husband’s patience, trust, and acceptance of his wife. There are countless love stories, but it’s not easy to sustain them in the end.
