Concept light design: DRIP

DRIP is a design of light ideating the falling action of a huge waterdrop, producing droplets beside it.

This is a solo concept light design project in Sheffield Hallam University, and inspired from Tokunjin Yoshioka.

A water drop fades in progress, just like troubles fade from our exhausted lives. This LED table lamp is made from acrylic and aluminum, used for indoor activities such as studying. It can lift the user’s mood with the geometric and clean lines.

Pic 1 to 2 are the concept product in 2 different environments; Pic 3 to 7 are the presentation boards of DRIP; Pic 8 to 9 are the progress of draft and Blender making; Pic 10 to 12 are the manufacturing parts and the list of similarities take reference from Mr. Yoshioka.
