Description of the organization and its target audience
At Longshot (http://www.longshotspace.com) we make a "light gas gun" that is the world's biggest cannon to send payloads to space and accross the world. It works by making a 6 mile/10 km long steel barrell, about 10 meter accross (1000-1 length to diameter ratio) with about 100 "injections" points along side (or on top of) it where hot gas is injected to "push" the payload - so think just a very long barrel with a bunch of gas-tanks on top. What comes out at the end is basically a sort of space plane with a payload inside.
