This work serves as an exploration of contemporary portraiture, focusing on the intersection of human emotion and structured digital lighting. By overlaying a classic, contemplative profile with rigid, vibrant bands of neon yellow, magenta, and green, I wanted to challenge the traditional boundaries between subject and environment.

The textured brushwork mimics traditional impasto on a digital canvas, creating a tactile depth that contrasts with the artificiality of the color palette.
