Job Duties:
- Understand business process and user requirement to provide effective application system solution
- Application development and preparation of testing strategies.
- Responsible for systems analysis and design.
- Ensure quality systems development work is performed in accordance with the systems development methodology and guidelines.
- Assist IT Managers on project management, team management and vendor management.
- Establish quality assurance processes and testing strategies.
- Monitor project progress and manage vendors.
- Coordinate UAT and implementation activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Studies, or related disciplines
- Minimum 6 years working experience in Information Technology
- Solid experience in web application development or system design
- Must have solid systems design and problem solving skills
- Familiar with design, development and testing methodologies
- Experience in Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Jasper report, web services
- Experience in WebSphere and IBM testing tools
- Experience in Linux, Windows, AIX environments and DB2 or other RDBMS
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
- HK permanent resident is required
