Officer, Duty Control

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that any changes, which could affect our handling of the airline contracts, are immediately relayed to the management;
• Daily log sheet preparation;
• Monitoring and handling the meal order uplifting as per customer required. Perform the pre-meal, initial and additional meal order handling;
• Flight schedule & movement information handling;
• Answer telephone calls and inform responsible personnel;
• Monitor the use and operate the paging of walkie-talkies system;
• Vehicles licenses, permits and keys control and application. Ensure all vehicles being repaired/overhauled as per schedule and record;
• Control the use of company vehicles;
• Liaise with kitchen regarding flight delay and menu change;
• Prepare the insurance claim form for car accident if necessary;
• Dispatch and receive of mails, cables and telexes;
• Drive company vehicles as required;
• Assist other operations section if necessary;
• Provide a supporting to transport team as required;
• Supervise the staff for the observance of the safety standards and promote the safety at work in the company;
• Act as units control center in overall daily operations.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder, with qualification in Transportation / Logistics / Aviation Management is a plus
• Two year or above working experience, experience in aviation industry is an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Good computer literate, including MS Office
• Valid driving licence No.1 & 2
