Engineer – High Bandwidth Services

Job Description:

• Assess environment of installation site and determine facilities requirement and equipment layout
• Conduct site acceptance test to ensure that site environment and facilities ready for equipment installation
• Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors in installation of network equipment
• Conduct system acceptance on equipment installed & commissioned by sub-contractors to uphold quality of works delivered by sub-contractors and ensure installed system is ready for integration to the network
• Work with Operation teams in system integration of commissioned network equipment to Company's production network
• Perform field trail of new product & system upgrade
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in electronics / electrical / telecommunication or equivalent
• Knowledge in telecommunication technology and engineering including transport, access, data, ethernet, video link & broadband technology preferable
• Hands-on experience on telecom equipment installation and familiar with industrial installation practice 
• Experience in network implementation in customer premises
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
