Visual Merchandising Manager

Responsibilities:

• Report to the General Manager to lead a team on Visual Merchandising and Construction management;
• Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing window and in-store displays at existing retail stores and new stores to cope with our expansion and transformation plan;
• Liaise with headquarter and formulate visual display guidelines and monitor the whole execution;
• Manage and deliver the seasonal VM training to retail store team, and oversee all shop VM tied with guidelines;
• Create a tactile in-store experience and brand visual merchandising standards applying the implementation across all retails channels;
• Monitor the sell through of display items to achieve effective visual merchandising at all times
• Responsible for costing and inventory control of props, display tools and POP materials;
• Project management of all VM initiatives, including window, seasonal brand imagery, POS, repairs and maintenance to be delivered in store on time, on budget and in-line with brand direction;
• Support warehouse maintenance and shop construction matter.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Visual Merchandising, Design or related discipline;
• At least 8 years of solid retail visual merchandising experience in which at least 2 years at managerial level;
• Good knowledge of fashion trends and forecasts;
• Very strong leadership skills and strategic mindset combined with a mentality to get things done on all levels;
• Experience in planning, coordinating and producing advertising and creative industry;
• Have a proven track record of creating great displays in visual merchandising for fashion retailers;
• Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility and able to meet tight deadline;
• Creative, energetic, self-motivated and team player;
• Very organized, with keen attention to details;
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand and etc.);
• Good organization, communication and presentation skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Occasional travel to China or Singapore, and overnight work for new shop opening as required.
