Accountant (Inventories and Payables Section)

Responsibilities:

- The incumbent is required to supervise a team of five subordinates in overseeing the treasury and order processing function, including shipping operation, inventory control and accounts payable

- Contribute to the effective settlement of any claims by liaising with supplier, forwarder or insurance company on damaged or short shipments

- Ensure daily activities of shipping monitoring, goods receiving and payment to suppliers are well-organized

- Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

- At least 5 years’ relevant experience

- Degree holder in Accounting or closely related discipline

- Hand-on experience in shipping procedure, preferably in retail operation, handling full set of shipping and banking documents with Trade-link declaration

- Responsible, detail-minded with strong supervisory and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Excel, MS Office and ERP system

- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese

- Immediately available is preferred

- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
