Facility Management Officer (Full time) Facility Management

Job Description:

  • Support and provide regular report to the Facility Management Manager in planning, implementation, monitoring, inspection and review of facilities maintenance systems and policies to deliver quality Hospital facilities management services complying with latest statutory requirements and in safe and quality conditions
  • Assist to manage carpark and security systems including alarms, access controls, CCTV, etc.
  • Assist to manage premises tenancy issues and communicate with tenancy and customers to provide quality tenancy and property management services
  • Conduct spatial utilization management including planning and review for better utilization of Hospital spaces, such as storage, clinical and non-clinical usage of spaces
  • Liaise with various Hospital Departments for requirements on facilities improvement, preventive and corrective maintenance, and identify cost-effective solutions
  • Assist to manage out-sourced services/works, liaise with services providers including consultants, contractors, suppliers, etc. to follow through out-source services/works including maintenance, supplies, installations, renovation, etc. to ensure services/works to be completed with required time, cost and quality.
  • Coordinate tender process, including tender management, contract negotiation, service contracts renewal, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Holder of Recognized Degree/Associated Degree/Diploma in Estate/Facility/Property Management or related discipline
  • At least 2 years working experience in facility/property management, preferably with experience in Hospital/Healthcare facilities
  • Relevant professional qualifications in facility/property management is an advantage
  • Familiar with latest statutory building and E&M regulations
  • Independent, mature, self-motivated, service-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure
  • Good PC skills including MS Office, Project and Chinese Word Processing
  • Driving license is an advantage
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
