Water - Life (2016)

Short Film

When pure water flows through colored tissue, it will be polluted. These colored tissues represent the temptation in life: the pursuit of power (black), wealth (orange), and fame (red) which may drive us to depravity. We will never be as pure as at birth.

During a talk about creative in CU, me and my friend read a little booklet about how to generate as many ideas as we can. And there is a chapter about 101 Ways to Squeeze a Lemon. The author made his/her own version of 101 Ways to Squeeze a Lemon, and I found it quite inspiring and interesting. Afterwards, me and my friend decided to create our own version. We splitted the huge lemon into half and each of us drew 50 ways to squeeze a lemon. The sketchbook on the left is my work.
