A lesson of responsibility

Sarah is a big fan of cats. She plays with the kitties every time she goes to the park near her home. One day, after finishing the chores, she (Sarah) went to the park as usual, and found that there was a kitty playing with a ball. She picked up the ball, and played with the kitty for a while. After playing with it for a while, she decided to bring it home without asking permission from her mom. On her way back home, she  held the kitty in her hand, not knowing there are there three more cates following them. When she got home, her mom was irritated by her inappropriate manner. Her mom said that it is such aan irresponsible behavior that she brought the little kitty home , not knowing how to take care of them. Sarah felt really upset when she got scolded by her mom. But, she still hid the kitties in her room.

The next day, Sarah and her family enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at her grandparents home. When they arrived at home, they found that all the kitties were on their sofa, and had made a mess of their home. Sarah was really scared that her dad would be really mad and she would receive a  punishment for it. However, he didn’t. He told Sarah that since she had decided to bring them home, she had to be responsible for them, no matter what they’ve done. So, after cleaning up the furniture, Sarah and her parents went to the pet store, bought some cat supplies, and learned some tips for keeping cats from the shopkeeper. Through this experience, Sarah learned that she should always be responsible her pets, and she should try to solve the inconvenience she caused.
