Arizona Love Sandals: The shoes with the city vibe

Women's walking sandals have been having a major fashion moment these last few years, and we absolutely love 'em. Who doesn't want a chic, summer-like Arizona Love sandal that you can wear all day long, without any pesky blisters or uncomfortable rubbing?

And it turns out performance footwear is actually very stylish. Household brands like Teva, Birkenstock and Columbia have been providing us with functional outdoor shoes for so many years, and they've had hikers and fashionistas both equally hooked. Even designers have now jumped on board, too. We reckon the appeal comes down to the mix of cool, utilitarian features, like multi-straps and chunky outsoles, along with all-day wearability.

So if you're looking for a cool new pair of sandals this summer, let us introduce to you the walking styles that will have you trek-ready, or at least take you from all day spent at the beach to an evening at the pub, just like Birkenstock sandals.

What is Arizona Love

French womenswear label Arizona Love is best known for its fun, colorful and trendy trekky sandals. Stylish and comfortable with EVA soles, the brand uses 100% cotton bandanas to add a bright, playful flair to its shoes. Each pair of sandals is handmade in Paris, France to minimize the brand’s ecological footprint.

Every year without fail you can expect to witness the floral infiltration of fashion, which sees even the most minimalist brands submit to the trend’s whimsical charm. What’s a floral-ambivalent fashion lover to do? If, like me, you prefer to have your foliage attached to a trellis rather than your trousers, shopping in the warmer months can present a bit of a challenge. However, I’m happy to report that there are plenty of summer-ready alternatives to try.

Thanks to the extrovert stylings of brands such as Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli, print inspiration is not in short supply this season: we have everything from Noughties cargos rendered in camo print and ’70s-inspired swirls and curves, to iconic leopard and bookish alphabet print. There’s even a cheeky cameo from the staunch minimalists at Jil Sander, who made me totally fall in love with stripes again thanks to the punchy head-to-toe styling for Birkenstock women.

Vibe of Arizona City

We looked at cities with plenty of access to breakfast spots like diners, cafes, and doughnut shops. We also considered quality and popularity by measuring consumer ratings, Google search interest, and the number of breakfast clubs, among 16 total metrics.

With that being said, if you're a huge breakfast fan, the Grand Canyon State might not be the best place for you to live in as the majority of Arizona cities populated the back end of the list. Nonetheless, there's always a No. 1 — and for Arizona, that's Phoenix, which came in at No. 38 overall. In the country, the top dog for breakfast lovers is New York City.
