Dr Ho Chung Ming, Tommy is the Founding President of the Hong Kong Institute of Environmentalists and the 1st Chairman of the HK Chapter of the Society of Environmental Engineers. As a leader in Environmental Engineering in Hong Kong he has been an Honorary Advisor for a number of environmental engineering bodies in Hong Kong and Macao.

He has established HCL International Ltd. and HCL Consulting Ltd. which organizes lead project management teams for customers in civil engineering and building projects. He also, through the Hong Kong Charter of Society of Environmental Engineers, has organized education programs for those in the Civil Engineering Building Industry.

At this year’s Hong Kong Green Micro Film Creation Awards Professor Dr Nagar Lai, Vice President of SCPU (St Clements Private University), presented Dr Ming with his Doctor of Letters. His publication for the award was his recently published “Production Quality Plan for Concrete''.
